Water Quality!
Water is meant to cleanse us of our dirt and germs, but now we are exposing our body to more harm than good. Endocrine-disrupting compounds present in the water can cause serious health problems such as organ damage, cancer, hormonal imbalance, and reproductive issues.
Exposure to certain chemicals like chlorination by-products can also increase the risk of chronic diseases, weaken the immune system, and impair cognitive function. It is important to have access to clean and safe drinking water. Filtration systems can help reduce the risk of harmful health effects associated with chemical pollutants in our water.
Improve the quality of your health, hair and skin by filtering the harsh chemicals out of your water. I personally use a bath tub filter for my kids and a shower head filter for our bathroom.
Here are a few of the top rated home filtration systems that will help ensuing you have clean and safe the water in your entire home!
*Reminder: When you come into contact with filtered water, you could be absorbing harmful chemicals. I always make sure to use these simple gloves when washing dishes to minimize my exposure and safeguard my health:

Invest in a high-quality, reusable water bottle that you can take with you wherever you go. Choose a bottle that's durable, leak-proof, and easy to clean. Having water readily available will make it easier to sip throughout the day, even when you're on the move. I use a 32oz glass water bottle and refill it just once a day!
Don’t for get the kiddos and encourage them to do what mommy does. Make sure to get the a BPA-free water bottle with a handle that is easy for them to carry or effortless to clip onto a bag. And for the ones who are a bit older, show them how to refill their own water bottles! That way it’s less on you and they are gaining a great life habit!

Infuse your Water!
Adding natural flavor to your water is a great way to stay refreshed and get extra nutrients and antioxidants. You can infuse water with fresh fruits, herbs, or cucumber slices. Try different combinations such as lemon and mint, strawberry and basil, or orange and ginger to make hydration more fun and enjoyable. For added benefits, you can add aloe vera and lemon to your infused water, which is detoxifying and cleansing.
I personally love to add lemon or lime into my water and let it sit overnight, then drink it first thing in the morning. This is a great habit to get into as it has an alkalizing effect on the body, helps with digestion, and gives a vitamin C boost! Another game changer for me has been adding Celtic Salt to my water. It contains 72 essential minerals that are often missing in our filtered water.
Celtic sea salt is the natural, unrefined salt that has been harvested from the coastal region of Brittany, France for centuries. Unlike regular table salt, Celtic sea salt retains a variety of minerals and trace elements, including magnesium, calcium, potassium, and zinc, which are essential for good health. These minerals help water enter our cells and replenish the body quickly.
Its natural harvesting process, which involves evaporating seawater in large shallow ponds or salt pans, allows it to keep its natural composition and avoid the addition of harmful additives. It has fewer additives and a lower sodium content than regular table salt, making it a healthier option for people who are conscious of their sodium intake. Besides, its complex flavor profile and coarser texture enhances the overall dining experience. If you're looking to support your electrolyte balance, hydration, and various bodily functions, Celtic sea salt may offer health benefits that go beyond regular table salt.
HYDRATION HACK…
Just a rice grain-sized crystal of Celtic salt with every mouthful of water can help you rehydrate faster. Even my kids love crunching on a bit of salt and then taking it down with a swig of water. Try it out and feel the difference!
It's a natural way to get a boost of energy as well!

To make sure I stay hydrated throughout my busy days with the kids, I prep the night before by filling up my alkaline water pitcher and glass water bottle with lemon, lime, or cucumbers. While also keeping my Celtic salt at the ready! As soon as I wake up, I enjoy some refreshing water to kickstart my day.
Starting the morning with lemon water is amazing—it helps balance my body's pH levels, keeps me healthy, and gets my digestive system going! Set yourself up for success while eliminating wasted time, energy, and stress from your already packed day!
Remember to only drink mouthfuls at a time and stop about 30 minutes before meals. This allows your stomach to get ready for optimal digestion. Trust me, your body will thank you for it!
